Let me take your pup(s) on a one-hour hike at one of our many local forest preserves! It allows them to explore new sights, sounds, and smells outside of their usual walk. I will switch up the trails and even forest preserves if your pup goes on more than one hike! I will send photos and/or videos during or after each hike. I am also bonded, insured, and Pet CPR and First-Aid Certified. Hikes are currently available in Cary, Fox River Grove, Barrington, and Crystal Lake.
What’s included for each hike? Pickup and drop off will be 10-20 minutes before and after your pup’s selected hiking time. The hike itself is one hour. I will supply 10-foot leashes so your dog can roam more freely. I will shorten the leash when I see fit such as when passing other dogs/hikers or keeping your dog out of restricted areas. I will supply fresh water from a dog water bottle/bowl and will carry a First-Aid kit and poop bags. At the end of the hike, I will do a quick towel clean up of your pup and check for ticks before the car ride home.

Who can join the hike? Up to three dogs are allowed per hike – these can be all yours or some from other residences! All dogs must be gathered at one house for quick pickup unless they all live in the same neighborhood. If your pup has friends in the neighborhood, I can pick up each dog for an additional $5 per stop. This is also a great chance for your pup to get to know other dogs and socialize! If other dogs are joining, a meet and greet with all dogs together is required before the first hike.
What’s required of me and my dog? Your pup must have a collar or harness with a dog ID tag attached. They must have recent flea and tick prevention applied. They must be up to date on all vaccinations. If joining a group hike, they must be spayed or neutered. All hiking forms must be completed. A meet and greet is required before the first hike. Please provide us with any treats or additional hiking gear your dog might need (jacket, booties, etc). Treats can help me distract your pup from other dogs as well as allow me to take better photos of them!
1 Dog – $50 | 2 Dogs – $55 | 3 Dogs – $60
Do you offer any deals? Yes! On your first hike, you get $5 off! And if you plan on booking more than one hike, consider buying a Hiking Adventure Pass, which offers savings of up to $40. See the rates below based on the number of dogs for a 5 or 10-hike pass. Payment for a pass must be paid in full before the first hike. Payment for a single hike is due on the day of the hike.

| Pass Rates | 5 Hikes | 10 Hikes |
| 1 Dog | $235 | $460 |
| 2 Dogs | $255 | $510 |
| 3 Dogs | $280 | $560 |
What days/times are hikes available? This will depend on other services that I have booked that week. Days and times may change weekly, but both weekday and weekend hikes will be available when possible. You can book a hike up to one week in advance. Book a hike as soon as you see a time you like as spaces are limited! Check back often as availability may open and times may be added throughout the week.
How do I book my first hike? All new clients must fill out a Hiking Request Form. I will respond as soon as possible via email to schedule a meet and greet. After the meet and greet, you can book your hikes by visiting the Hiking Booking Calendar. I will confirm the hike with you and let you know the pickup time and which forest preserve we will be going to. All hikes are weather-permitting.
